Destruction Warlock Overview
Destruction has always been known as a spec that excels at dealing large hits through Chaos Bolt and very strong cleave damage through Havoc.
Our primary resource is Soul Shards which we both generate and spend with a number of abilities in our kit. We can choose to either spend them on Chaos Bolt which is a single target ability or Rain of Fire with is an AoE ability that deals damage over time.
We're known as the Warlock spec that deals its damage in big hits and doesn't rely on pets doing the dirty work for us. That's still the case to this very day, although we've become known for our signature cooldown Summon Infernal making for a very strong companion when popped.

Destruction Warlock Phials in Dragonflight
Overall the best phial for Destruction Warlocks is Phial of Elemental Chaos. However, an alternate option would be to use Iced Phial of Corrupting Rage despite the drawback effect of the phial. An alternate option to each phial is Phial of Static Empowerment, however this requires you to be standing still to maintain the Primary Stat buff.

There are a couple different potions that have different useful scenarios for Destruction Warlocks:

Destruction Warlock Health Potions in Dragonflight
The best healing potion for Destruction Warlocks is Refreshing Healing Potion. In an emergency, make sure to carry a couple Potion of Withering Vitality, but be mindful of its drawbacks. For progression, it is very useful to have Delicate Suspension of Spores and Residual Neural Channelling Agent to be able to help your group even while dead.
Destruction Warlock Weapon Buff in Dragonflight
For their weapons, Destruction Warlocks will always use Howling Rune.
Best Destruction Warlock Food in Dragonflight
Feast: Grand Banquet of the Kalu'ak, Hoard of Draconic Delicacies or Yusa's Hearty Stew
Personal Food: Fated Fortune Cookie or Timely Demise/ Sizzling Seafood Medley as an alternative
Best Destruction Warlock Gems in Dragonflight
