This specific set of threads are centred around recruitment as a whole,. There won't be extra set of threads set for specific games, if recruitment threads are found anywhere other than here. They will be moved/removed as seen fit, moderators will always uphold a very strict formal presence when it comes to keeping the forums centred around topics and clean. Here we wish to offer an alternative (or addition) to the Normal Forums by allowing our users to advertise their guilds in order to seek new members and give our users an opportunity to find new guilds.
We do ask that users wishing to post here follow a few simple rules:
When posting a guild recruitment thread, please include as much information as possible. If you want people to join your guild, you should at least show them your faction, raiding times, and other necessary information.
No trolling. This isn't the place to put down a guild.
Follow the general forum rules. You're no more allowed to post spam here than anywhere else.
You are welcome to bump your recruitment thread once every 24 hours. Any abuse of this will not be tolerated.
Please do not make a new thread--edit your existing thread.
Getting Started
When posting a guild recruitment topic, please try to include the following line at the beginning of your topic title, as it will make it easier for users to find exactly what they are looking for.
Topic Title Format
[AorH - Realm - USorEU] <guild name> Recruiting! [Additional Information Here] Example: [A - Mug'thol - US] <Wowhead> Recruiting! 2/7H 25-man!
Feel free to include other information in your topic title, regarding progression or whatever else you see fit.
Guild Recruitment Thread Template
You can paste literally anything you want inside the post; we're aware some of you have threads on other forums. Feel free to copy that information over.
However, if this is your first time doing a guild advertisement, here's an example template you can use.

Be sure to include any further information about your guild, including anything you'd like to say regarding progression, focus, or anything you think will attract people to your guild. You are more than welcome to include a link to your guild's site, but any inappropriate links will be removed and Wowhead will not be held responsible for the content of these external links.
Player LFG Thread Template
You are also welcome to post a "Looking for guild" topic, though same rules apply. There are no strict guidelines for posting a "Looking for guild" thread as with server transfers / faction transfers / race transfers, the information may not necessarily be static, but please try to be as informative as possible in both your subject and your topic.
I've included an example of the sort of information that is to be expected by a potential guild:

Please note that the guidelines for a "Looking for guild" post are not as strict as those for Guild Recruitment, but you should still try to be as professional and informative as possible! Remember, guild drama does not belong here!
Lastly be sure to add any "#'s" you wish for people to be able to see the post quickly with ease but more importantly it links your digital footprint in the whole forums, so be sure to gain them views where possible!
